James E. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin and Millie Ann Gass (King); and his siblings, Ettness Marie Barnes and Harvey Dale Cook. He is survived by: his siblings, William Cook (JoHanna), Lillian Johnson, Brenda Weaver (John) and Patsy Payne (James); his sister-in-law Shirley Cook; and his nieces and nephews, Samantha, Timmy, Melody, Tina, Bobby, Andy, Pam, Sandra, Johnny, Jason, Michelle, John and Amber.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home (300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
