He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Damron and Joyce Damron; and his wife Betty Jean Damron (Morris). He is survived by: his son Ben Damron (Karen) of Staten Island, NY; his granddaughters, Jasmine Damron of Coalmont and Alisa Damron of Winchester; his sister Donna Joleen Oliver (Roger) of Jefferson, GA; and his nephew Joey Morris (Laura) of Winder, GA..
