She was predeceased by: her parents, George Avington and Annie Lee Bagwell Hunnicutt; her husband Brents Mathis; her son Richard Brents Mathis; and her siblings, Chester, Norman, Elliott, Edward Hunnicutt, Harvin Hunnicutt, Louise Sweeney, Lillie Mae Harvin and Catherine Terry.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Ed Hunnicutt (Linda), Sandra Roggli (Mike), Debbie Gravlee (John), Shelia Hunnicutt, Sam Hunnicutt, Paul Hunnicutt (Mary), Jimmie Dean Fields and Darlene Maze (Jim).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to Winchester Christian Academy.
