She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard M. Austin and Mary P. Austin; her husband Henry T. Whitaker (Tommy); and her son Henry Thomas Whitaker (Tommy). She is survived by: her children, Mary Nell Hess (Bill) of Decherd, Richard M. Whitaker (Barbara) of Clearwater and Dixie Ann Anderson (Casey) of Decherd. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Once the COVID virus retreats, the family plans to have a memorial service.
