He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Ann Harwell of Brighton, Sue Erickson (George) of Virginia, Lanier Fryer of Memphis, Marvis Fryer (Angie) of Knoxville and Gerald Fryer of Covington; his children, Gary Lane Fryer of Decherd, Michael Fryer of Decherd and Cheryl E. Taylor of Decherd; and his close friend Roger D. Lucas.
