With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jean Tims Smith of Decherd, Tennessee, born in Tullahoma, Tennessee, who passed away on November 9, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Dance and Elizabeth Pauline Tims (Creek); her husband Bill Smith; and her children, Holly Rochelle Smith and Patrick Shae Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Smith (Misti), Nick Smith and Sloane Smith; her grandchildren, Holly Layne, Shane Smith, Leah Smith and Willa Walls; her great grandchildren, Jayda Solomon and Connor Solomon; and her sister Nancy Cole (Jimmy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home (300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
