He was predeceased by: his parents, William George Swift and Velma Lorene Wilson Swift; his daughter Darla Bowman; and his sisters, Elizabeth Perkins and Becky Moody.
He is survived by: his wife Nellie Swift of Decaturville, TN; his daughters, Cindy Creasy (Gary) of Scotts Hill, TN, Sonda Thornton of Lexington, TN and Sherry Brawley (Tim) of Decaturville, TN.; his siblings, Jerry Swift (Grace) of Parsons, TN, Ronnie Swift of Decaturville, TN., Joyce Blankenship of Brownsville, TN and Gail Smith (Mike) of Linden, TN.; and his grandchildren, Aaron Brawley, Laura Brasher (Derrick), Cameron Creasy, Ashton Lowery (Johnny), Aleshia Croom (Chandler), Christa Galbraith Sarah (Micheal) and Kenneth Thornton. He is also survived by Sixteen Great Grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephew and many many friends.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church building fund.
