Though Jean may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tinsley Brown and Nora Brown; and her sisters, Syble Owens and Irene Estes. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Metheny; her daughters, Karen Creasy (Russell) and Penny Parker (David); her stepsons, Brian Metheny (Kimberly), Mike Metheny (Lucinda), Kevin Metheny (Dawn) and Scott Metheny (Kristen); and her sister Dean Woods (Ethridge). She is also survived by four grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and eight step great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Pafford Funeral Home - Scotts Hill (10145 TN-100, Scotts Hill, TN 38374). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Prospect Cemetery (35592 TN-104, Sardis, TN 38371).
