He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Rea and Ruth Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Karin Rea of Decaturville, TN; his children, Charlie Rea of Parsons, TN, Ronnie Rea of Decaturville, TN and Amanda Raney of Decaturville, TN; and his brothers, Charles Rea of Decaturville, TN and Eddie Rea of Arkansas. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren.
