It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda A. Wattenbarger Monroe of Decatur, Tennessee, who passed away on October 29, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Wattenbarger and Mamie Ingram Wattenbarger; her husband Lankford Monroe, Jr.; and her siblings, Willie Wattenbarger, Irene Thompson, Garland Wattenbarger, Betty Underwood and Keith Wattenbarger.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa King (Gene) and Lori Monroe (Tim Hickman); her grandchildren, Jerry King III (Morgan), Mitchell King (Tiffany) and Timothy King (Crystal); her great grandchildren, Tyler King, Skyla King, Maddox Mason, Eden King, Ryker King, Taven King and Brayleigh King; her siblings, Ruby Tilley, Janie Foster and Ray Wattenbarger; and her nieces and nephews, Sheila Cooper, J. C. Crabtree and Randy Wattenbarger.
