It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Ann Day of Decatur, Tennessee, born in Madisonville, Tennessee, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Maxwell and Regina Mae Maxwell (Torbett); and her sister Sandra Ford. She is survived by: her husband James Day; her children, Max Allen (Camela) of Sevierville, TN, James M. Day III and Susan Oakes; her sisters, Donna Kay Maxwell of Knoxville, TN and Kimberly Flood of Ohio; and her grandchildren, Corbin, Camron Allen and Calleigh Herrell. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
