She was predeceased by: her parents, George Presswood and Fannie Belcher Presswood; her husband Charles Fred "Sonny" McDowell; and her siblings, George Edward Presswood, Vaughn D. (Barbara), J. W. (Ruth) and Marie Walden.
She is survived by: her children, C. L. (Tammy), Ricky (Teresa), Aaron (Debbie) and Walley McDowell (Dawn); her sister Gussie Richesin; her grandchildren, Blake, Jeremy, Hayden, Griffin and Seba McDowell; her great grandchildren, Cade, Callen McDowell, Colton and Cameron Schumate; and her nieces and nephews, Sandra Hari, Shirley Teague and Tony Partin. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
