She was predeceased by: her husband James D. Hale; her son Donald James Hale; and her siblings, J. B. Kyker and Aileen Denton. She is survived by: her children, Ronald Hale, Jane Gesse (Gregg), Tanya Rogers (Dannie) and Mike Hale; and her siblings, Larry Kyker (Brenda), Shirley Jackson and Carolyn Poteat (Glenn). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
