He was predeceased by: his wife Dora Meadows; his parents, Carl Meadows and Becky Meadows; and his siblings, Clyde Meadows, Frank Meadows, Billy Meadows, William Meadows, Danny Meadows, Howard Meadows, Barbara Gene Fagg and Anna Sue Tilley.
He is survived by: his close friend Asher; and his siblings, Kenneth Meadows and Faye Stokes. He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services (163 Arrants Rd, Decatur, TN 37322). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Morning View Baptist Church (24345 TN-58, Decatur, TN 37322).
