He is survived by: his wife Ivadell Heck Varnell; his sister Shirley Cunningham (Wally) of Decatur; his daughters, Robin Varnell of Decatur, Janet Bradley (Rodney) of Tellico and Shelia Mann (David) of Knoxville; his grandchildren, Jessica Ervin (Kevin), Lauren McClellen (Stefan), Tara Givens (Dallas), Haley Brown (Derick), English Mann and Benjamin Mann; and his great grandchildren, Isaac Parker, Lily Hurst, Reece, Ramsey Ervin, Cohen McClellen and Shelby Givens. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
