She was predeceased by: her parents, Weaver McKenzie and Rose Lee Holland McKenzie; her daughter Brandy Nicole McHone; her siblings, James Robert McKenzie and Janice Lyke; her grandmother Holland; her uncle Bill (Lawrence Holland); her aunt Violet Jackson (Joe Smith); and her close friends, Opal Proffit and Shy Green.
She is survived by: her sons, Brandon Shelton (Crystal) and Chad Dawson (Megan); and her siblings, Linda Hutsell and David McKenzie. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, one great grandchild; 10 nephews and nieces, and many cousins.
