She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bert and Ethel Lee Norman Chumley; her husband David Monroe; her siblings, Jim, Bob, Delbert, Larry, Dorothy, Betty and Shirley; and her son-in-law Steve Scheider.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Monroe of Decatur, Brenda Scheider of Dallas, GA and Kent Monroe (Myra) of Athens, TN; and her grandchild Anndrea Melton (Daniel) of Douglasville, GA. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren; several special nieces, nephews, other extended family, and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to Walnut Grove Baptist Church.
