He is survived by: his wife Jane Lillard Bowers; his son James Allen Bowers, Jr.; his stepson Mark Lillard (Karen); his grandchildren, Casie Bowers-Cantrell (Jacob), Braden Bowers, Rachel Cole (Robert), Danisha Lillard, Serenity Lillard and Elijah Lillard; his sister Linda Runyon (Tom); and his close friends, Virginia, Mike Godsey Robinson, John and Susie Whalen. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
