He was predeceased by: his parents, Enoch Spears and Opal Collins Spears. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Spears; his children, Janet McCarty (Tim) and Darvin Lee Spears; and his nieces, Alta May Crawford (Ken), Joy Deane Stephens and Lucy Potter. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
