He is survived by: his daughter Joni Steven (Steve); his daughter-in-law Misty Boyd Elkins; his grandchildren, Houston, Alexis Steven, Jacob and Olivia Elkins; his great grandchild Easton Elkins; and his brothers, Hershal Elkins (Barbara) and Kenneth Elkins (Naomi). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
