She was predeceased by: her sister Charlene Tewell. She is survived by: her daughters, Johnna Nelson and Rachel Nelson of Decatur; her mother Evelyn Stickler of Decatur; her grandson David Nelson of Decatur; her siblings, Julie Bottomly of Cleveland, TN and Kenny Tewell of Everett, PA; her fiancé Teddy Hicks of Athens; and her close friend Teresa Clayton of Decatur. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to help with Carrie's final expenses.
