Alice Bertha (Bemis) Gambalie Obituary
Alice B. (Bemis) Gambalie (Decatur, Tennessee), born in Spencer, Massachusetts, completed her earthly life on November 8, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to cherish fond memories are her devoted husband of 50 years , Salvatore Gambalie; her children, Bethel, Jesse (Tanya), Keturah (Jason), And Brooke Lynne Sukhanov. She truly loved her grandchildren Zachariah and Kylea Kincaid and Lydia Sukhanov and was most happy when they were around.
Alice was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in May 1960 and held fast to the beliefs of her faith until the end. She spent many years in the full-time ministry in the United States, Mexico and Panama. She was privileged to aid many of her Bible students to join her in serving her God, Jehovah.
Alice strongly held that God's Kingdom with Christ Jesus as King is the only hope for all the problems and troubles in this world. It is this kingdom that, she believed, will restore the earth to the original paradise that God purposed for mankind. The Bible promises that this kingdom will put an end to sickness, suffering, pain, and death. (Revelation 21:3, 4)
Alice strongly believed in the hope of the resurrection to life in a paradise earth that Jesus talked about in John 5:28, 29. God's kingdom by Christ Jesus along with his 144, 000 co-rulers chosen from the earth (Revelation 14:1, 3) will rule and administer the Kingdom blessings. these 144, 000 are resurrected immediately to heavenly life (1 Corinthians 15:51, 52). Alice held this hope of a heavenly resurrection - the reward to which she has attained.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 26th 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (8084 U. S. 411, Benton, Tennessee 37307). A reception for family and friends will follow.
