He is survived by: his children, Melissa Rogers (Tyron) and Charles Lynn Houston (Tracy); his grandchildren, Charles Lee Houston, Kim Boles, Brittany Willins and Ashley Simmons; and his great grandchildren, Cameron Skyles, Brooklyn of Kendall, CJ, Bryson, Ava Houston, Gracie Fox and Ryan Creasman.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home, Inc. (1670 Market St, Dayton, TN 37321-1130). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
