He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude "Dutchy" Goins and Naomi McClure Goins. He is survived by: his siblings, Claudia Tharpe (Johnny), Janet Arnold (Bob) and Tony Goins; and his nieces and nephews, Marcy Kay, Brent Tharpe, Chad Goins, Tiffany Ashley, Jake Goins, Brittany Pugh and Dylan Goins.
In Lieu of flowers memorials can be made to New Union Baptist Church.
