She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Hicks; her parents, William McMillan and Effie McKenzie McMillan; and her brother Marvin McMillan. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Long of Dayton, Arlin Hicks (CeCe) of Dayton, Vivian Patrick (Jerry) of Soddy Daisy and Ruth Varner of Dayton. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
