He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Merrill and Clair Merrill. He is survived by: his friends, Dave, Martha Kirby, Bill Aswad and Harold Croft; his wife Becca Merrill of Dayton, Tennessee; and his daughters, Donna Striley (Jamie) of Owego and Shelley MacPherson (Jim Pfiffer) of Elmira. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations are to be made to St. Jude's Hospital or Westminister Presbyterian Church.
