He was predeceased by: his parents, Genoa Zollinger and Ellen Zollinger (Howe); his wife Ruthie Coulter; his granddaughter Jessica Zollinger; and his siblings, George Zollinger, Shirley Chastain, Betty Ashlock, Glenn Zollinger, Leland Zollinger, Edwin Zollinger and Beecher Zollinger.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Duane Zollinger of Dayton, TN, Russell David Zollinger (Kristi) of Dayton, TN and Joy Lynne Zollinger of Baltimore, MD; his grandchildren, Thomas, Grace Zollinger, Lauryn, Sarah and Ava Zollinger; and his great grandchildren, Cameron Rowe and Zoe Richardson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to the Laurelbrook Alumni Pioneer Memorial Endowment Fund, which assists worthy students in attending Laurelbrook Academy.
