We bid farewell to Rita Evelyn Jordan of Dayton, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 15, 2025 at the age of 67. Rita touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond "Pete" May and Celia Morgan May; and her siblings, Dorothy May, Rosemary Yearwood, Raymond May Jr., Roy May, Roger May and Ronald May.
She is survived by: her husband Rick Jordan; her son Richard Jordan (Christina); her grandchildren, Bradley Jordan and Sara Jordan Brady; and her sisters, Helen Caraway, Ruby Burchard, Dena Burchard, Reba Dotson, Ruth Ann Gentry, Annette Parks, Karen May and Becky Sparks. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home, Inc. (1670 Market St, Dayton, TN 37321-1130). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
