He is survived by: his wife Betty Hixson Smith; his daughters, Mandy Thacker (Jonathan) and Wendy Robinson; and his siblings, Vickie Wolfe, Loretta Hill, Ricky Smith and Terry Smith. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
