He was predeceased by: his parents, James Woods Walker and Rose Walker (Travis); his former wife Betty Brooks Walker; his wife Gladys Carroll Walker; his son James Ralph Walker; his siblings, Harold Walker and Ailene Griffith; and his half-siblings, Barbara Smith, Reba Garrison, Betty Ann Warnkey and Dub Hill.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Rogers (Greg) of Battle Creek, MI; his stepbrother Butch Hill of Redbank; his grandchildren, Dustin Rogers (Denise) of Spring Port, MI, Jimmy Walker, Jr. of Battle Creek, MI and Kellie Sue Johnson-Torres (Marc) of Battle Creek, MI; his daughter-in-law Susan Walker of Battle Creek, MI; and his stepchildren, Dr. Bob Carroll (Carolyn) of Hixson, Judy Tingle of Hixson, Joan Carroll of Hixson and Wanda Morris (Wencil) of Hixson. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
