It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Dill of Dayton, Tennessee, born in Dalton, Georgia, who passed away on June 18, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Patterson and Sybil Patterson (Treadwell); and her husband James Dill, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, James F. Dill (Jennifer) of Dayton and Deena Kosciusko (Rob) of Columbia, SC; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Dill (Zach Doust) of Dayton, Abigail Rea (Wes) of Gulfport, AL, James F. Dill, III of Dayton, Matthew Dill of Dayton, Wyatt Kosciusko and Mia Kosciusko of Columbia, SC; and her brothers, John Patterson, Jr. (Brenda) of Dalton, GA and Tony Patterson (Susan) of Dalton, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church she served and loved so much First United Methodist Church in Dayton or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
