With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jo McCarver of Dayton, Tennessee, who passed away on March 21, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Stephens and Margie Stephens; her siblings, Mitchell Stephens, Wayne Stephens, Ellen Stephens Carney and Sandra Stephens Davis; and her half-siblings, Millard Stephens, Frankie Morgan, Pearl Minnis and Bernadine Agnew.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Summerer (Larry) of Homosassa, FL, Charles Jordan (Diana Keener) of Dayton, TN and Roxanne Fritts of Pikeville, TN; her siblings, Leo Stephens (Kathy), Liz Tipton Combs (Larry) and Hazel Aviles (Vic); her half-siblings, Betty Ann Dawson and Virgil Stephens; and her grandchildren, Nick Jordan, Trevor Morgan, Jeremiah Young, Jacob Young and Natasha Gilbertson. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
