She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Williams and Mildred Williams (Howerton); and her husband William "Sonny" Swafford, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Tammy Swafford-Frazier (Guy) of Anderson, William "Bill" Swafford, Jr. (Sharese) of Granger and Byron Swafford (Shannon) of Dayton, TN; her grandchildren, Jaleen, Elayne and Cyrus; her great grandchildren, Zekarii and Jayden; her brothers, Robert Williams (Linda) of Mesquite, Texas and Johnny Downs; her adoptive son Jeff Floyd; her aunt Katherine Howerton; her cousin Catherine Tullos; and her niece Jeannette Brown. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Vanderwall Funeral Home (164 Maple St, Dayton, TN 37321). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Vanderwall Funeral Home, Inc. (164 Maple St, Dayton, TN 37321). A burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
