She was predeceased by: her parents, Noel Spencer and Kathleen Spencer (Benjamin); her husband Malcolm; her son Malcolm "Micky" Fary; and her sister Virginia Spencer.
She is survived by: her children, Karin Carpenter (John) of Dayton, Major Timothy (Sarah) and Daniel Fary (Maria) of Chattanooga; and her brother Noel Spencer. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Westminster Presbyterian Church building fund.
