He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Carol, Masel Reed and Betty Morgan; and his grandparents, Lloyd Bruce Patterson and Geraldine Ward.
He is survived by: his parents, Jeff Mize of Kingston, TN and Kristie Mize (Patterson) of Dayton; his wife Haley Woods of Spring City, TN; his children, Brandalynn "Bam", Zavarii, Astrik Kai and Phoenix Spence (Bridgett Cooper); his grandparents, Bessie Patterson of Dayton, Kern and Mary Mize; his siblings, Jordan Mize (Kodi Parker), Pru Mize, Tyler Mize, Dimitrius Patterson (Whitney) and Noel Patterson; and his aunts and uncles, Gordon, Pamela Long of Dayton, Mindy Blackburn (Corey), David Long (Jesse), Greg Long, Dennis Patterson (Bobbi), Brandon Mize (Tasha) of Atlanta, Jesse and Jim. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
