He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Jeannette Baeder Hasting and Jerry Carter Hasting; his daughter Melinda; his wife Ann Ballard; his children, Missi Baker (John) of Portland, OR, Robert Hasting (Marjorie) of Maryville, TN, Scott Hasting (Lori) of Aiken, SC, Chet Hasting (Jessica) of Columbia, SC and Allison Snyder of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Isaac Wheatley, Amanda Montgomery, Troy Wheatley, Charlie Hasting, Rachel Hasting, Jake Hasting, Brenna McCormick, Lanie Kirkland, Chase Kendrick, Hendrix Hasting, Mason Snyder and Anna Snyder; and his great grandchildren, Destiny Wheatley, Joel Olayo, Karla Olayo, Watts Wheatley, Asher Wheatley, Boris Grossman, Naomi Montgomery, Margaret McCormick and Marcus McCormick. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
