It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Sue Hughes of Dayton, Tennessee, who passed away on January 4, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. James Wesley Coleman and Sylvia Sue Coleman (Dowden); and her sons, Billy Gene Coleman and Mark Anthony Coleman. She is survived by: her children, Karen "Elaine" Rogers of Dayton, Randel Cleon Coleman of Dayton, Anthony Sneed (Holly) of Dayton and Rachel Ann Brady of Dayton; and her siblings, Cynthia Darlene Bisinger of Georgia, Angela Beth Witt of Georgia and Bobby Shane Coleman of Georgia. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Buttram Cemetery (192 Pine Crest Dr, Dayton, TN 37321).
