It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Ellis of Dayton, Tennessee, who passed away on September 21, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Ida Ellis; and his brother Richard Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ellis; his brothers, Walter Ellis (Sandy) and Warren Ellis (Nena); his sisters-in-law, Kathy Ellis Hodges (Joe) and Laura Meert (Arny); and his nieces and nephews, Jimmy Ellis (Annette), Daryll Ellis (Dorka) and Carolyn Ellis. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
