He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Roller Carter; his daughter-in-law Donna Faye Carter; and his grandson Bradly Carter. He is survived by: his children, John Carter (Luana), Toby Carter (Debbie), Tony Carter, David Carter (Christy) and Dwayne Roddy (Amy); and his brother-in-law David Roller. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
