He is survived by: his wife Carol Jane Mears; his children, James "Bubba" Mears (Patty) of Dayton, TN, Pamela Maynard of Graysville, TN, Don Mears (Jessica) of Graysville, TN and Tonya Kilgore (JL) of Graysville, TN; his siblings, Patricia Mears, Charlie, Matt and Randy Mears; and his grandchildren, Logan Jordan, Dakota Roddy, Elizabeth, Eli Maynard, Nevaeh, Jaxon, Sam Mears, Levi, Chelsea and Elijah Kilgore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
