He was predeceased by: his father James Howard Cole; and his nephew Patrick Buchanan. He is survived by: his children, James Scott (Nickki) of Dayton, Ohio, Alvirleen Scott (Tone) of Dayton, Ohio and Ronald Williams of Dayton, Ohio; his sisters, Truly Ann Cole (Mark) of Shelbyville, Janice B. Croom of Shelbyville and Teresa Miles (Tony) of Murfreesboro; his uncle Henry Whitaker (Margaret); his grandsons, Kaleb, Joel and Tre'Von; his nephew Johnathan Cole; his niece Shontelli Allen; and his friend Anthony Bird of Dayton. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
