It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irene Long of Dayton, Tennessee, born in Valley Head, Alabama, who passed away on December 15, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clinton Cooper and Beulah Belle Cooper (Richey); her husbands, David Bodkin and John Lewis Long; and her son Philip Long.
She is survived by: her sons, Jon Bodkin (Becky) of Dayton, Steve Long (Lezlie) of Lakesite and Owen Long (Pam) of Wilmington, IL. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
