He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Travis and Alma Travis (Brooks); his wife Margaret Ann Travis (Deford); his children, Cheryl Woody, Donald Travis and Charles Travis; and his siblings, Charles Travis, Howard Travis and Barbara Caduto.
He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Travis of Dayton and Hal Travis (Lona) of Dayton; and his siblings, Rev. Jewell Travis of Dayton and Billie Sterling of Georgia. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
