He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Brantley Griffin, Sr. and Rhoda Montgomery Griffin; his daughter Janet Goldston; and his grandson Todd Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife June Cook Griffin of Dayton; his children, Jacob B. Griffin, III (Stacy) of Evensville, Deborah Oakley of Savannah, TN and Brenda Guardala of Maryland; and his grandchildren, Matthew Oakley, Michael Oakley, Daniel Oakley, Hannah Griffin, Jake Griffin, David Griffin, Silas Griffin, Nathaniel Griffin and Jennifer Rose. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
