She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Cole and Doshie Cole (Craig); her brother Tommy Cole; and her husband Jack Lamar Smith. She is survived by: her children, Philip Alan Smith (Stephanie) of Birmingham, AL, Melanie Powers (Todd) of Dayton, TN and Kevin Smith (Diane) of Lebanon, TN; and her sisters, Barbara Nichols, Diane Golovaty and Gail Grass. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
