She was predeceased by: her husband Donald "Gibb" Roddy; and her parents, Peyton Ivie and Edythe Grier Ivie. She is survived by: her children, Malinda Austin (Joe) of Dayton and Grant Roddy of Dayton; her brother Grier Ivie (Pat) of Murphy, N. C.; her granddaughter Lona Hall; and her great grandchild Ethan Hall.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to New Union Baptist Church.
