With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene L. Rogers (Dayton, Tennessee), born in Chase, Kansas, who passed away on September 16, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leo Rogers and Ianth Rogers; his wife Barbara; his children, Paul, Scott (Suzanne) and Alison (Mark); his grandchildren, Seth, Caleb, Remy and Riley; and his stepchildren, Donna, Rachel, Tim, Andy, Matthew and Ginger. He was also cherished by 18 step grandchildren, 21 step great grandchildren and 3 step great great grandchildren.

“To all who knew my beloved Gene, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and I hope you will remember what a wonderful person he was. He loved his family, his friends and all the friends he made at Falling Water Cumberland Presbyterian church which he was a member of and he dearly loved the church and church family. He is greatly missed, but I know that he is in God's arms and not in any more pain. Thank you for your prayers. From his loving "sunshine", Barbara Ann.”
