He is survived by: his wife Vicki Knox of Dayton; his children, Brandalyn Yakubek of Dayton and Robby Smith of Dayton; his brother Boyd Knox of Evensville; his pet Princess; and his grandchildren, Emmary Yakubek, Dustin Smith, Kaleb Smith, Madalyn Newby, Josiah Garland and Abigail Garland.
