He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry McKenzie and Rita Cooper; and his sister Louise Cooper. He is survived by: his close friend Barbara Kinder of Dayton; his daughters, Tonya Hyatte of Chattanooga, Chaquita Cooper of Cleveland, Renika Cooper of Chattanooga, Tamara Cooper of Chattanooga and Bridgett Espinoza (Victoria) of Spring City; his stepdaughter April Kinder of Cookeville; and his brothers, Ernest "Popeye" Cooper of Connecticut and Oliver Cooper of Massachusetts. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
