She was predeceased by: her husband William Gene Hester; her daughter Judith Leigh Hester; and her mother Myrtle Goad (Chaney). She is survived by: her son Joseph Hester (Gail) of Dayton; and her grandchildren, Matthew Hester of Chattanooga, Christopher Hester (April) of Chickamauga, GA, Jeremy Nolan (Constance) of East Ridge and Chevante Johnson (Reggie) of Soddy Daisy. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and five brothers.
